Menworks is a Kanpur based Indian perfume house building EDPs inspired by Louis Vuitton, Creed, Xerjoff and more, and naming its inspirations openly. Here is the full lineup, decoded.
The Fresh and Blue Crew
This is where Menworks is strongest, and where Indian buyers will get the most wear.
Immense takes on Louis Vuitton L'Immensité: orange, bergamot, mandarin, and ginger over rosemary, sage, and water notes, into ambroxan and labdanum. Atlantic Chill covers Pacific Chill with blackcurrant, orange, and lemon iced with mint and basil. Summer Dive is the Afternoon Swim take, a bright citrus and ginger plunge built for peak summer. Menworks is unusually good on the LV freshies; our Louis Vuitton dupes guide counts 9 to 11 dupes each for these three originals, and Menworks is on every list.
The Bleu reworks Y Eau de Parfum (apple, ginger, sage, juniper, amberwood), while Myslv goes after MYSLF with Calabrian bergamot and Tunisian orange blossom over Ambrofix and musk. Infinite is a blend, by the brand's own description a mix of the Bleu de Chanel Eau de Parfum and Parfum DNAs: citrus and mint over lavender and ginger into sandalwood, amberwood, and Iso E Super.
The Armani shelf gets two entries: Profumo for Acqua di Giò Profumo (bergamot and marine notes over patchouli and incense) and Profondo Intense for Acqua di Giò Profondo, with cypress and mastic in the heart. Pacific Water Reborn strips Cool Water Reborn down to galbanum, cedar, and Haitian vetiver. Crome is the Chrome interpretation, lemon, neroli, and pineapple over a big classic base of musk, cedar, sandalwood, and tonka.
Two freshies deserve a spotlight of their own. Istanbul takes on Nishane Hacivat: pineapple, grapefruit, and bergamot over jasmine, patchouli, and cedarwood into oakmoss. Crisp, green, expensive smelling, and one of the best value routes to the Hacivat profile in India. Green Magnet covers Parfums de Marly Greenley with green apple, bergamot, cedar, and violet over oakmoss and musk.
Legend is another declared blend, Percival meets Montblanc Legend Blue: watermelon, lavender, and Sicilian orange over lotus and water notes. Givree freezes Terre d'Hermès Eau Givrée into citron, juniper, and Timut pepper over mineral woods (it also appears in our Terre d'Hermès dupes guide). And After The Blade is a barbershop tribute to Dior Eau Sauvage: lemon, bergamot, basil, and rosemary over carnation, orris, and lavender into oakmoss and vetiver.
The Aventus Corner
Menworks fields two takes on Creed Aventus, and is upfront that neither is a straight clone. Italian Suede works from the Aventus chypre DNA (pineapple, blackcurrant, apple, birch, patchouli, oakmoss, ambergris) at the range's highest oil concentration, 35 percent, with a suede soft finish. Pineapple Mafia is the twist take: a sweeter spin with pineapple, green apple, and mandarin over cedarwood, oakmoss, and vanilla. If you want the profile straight, our Aventus dupes guide has the specialists. If you want it sweeter or stronger, Menworks is the detour.
The Sweet and Evening Shelf
Elixir goes after Sauvage Elixir with bergamot and pepper into a dense spice heart of Sichuan pepper, lavender, pink pepper, and elemi over ambroxan and labdanum. Date Night is the La Nuit de l'Homme reading: cardamom first, lavender and cedar smoothing it out, vetiver and caraway underneath. Built for close quarters, as the name admits.
Azzaro gets a double. Wanted covers The Most Wanted in three acts (cardamom, toffee, amberwood), and Bourbon Vanilla takes the darker Most Wanted Parfum direction: ginger, a woody accord, and a bourbon vanilla base. Millionare (the house's own spelling) reworks 1 Million Elixir with apple and davana over Damask rose, osmanthus, vanilla absolute, and tonka. Golden Reserve melts Le Male Elixir into lavender, mint, vanilla, benzoin, honey, and tobacco. Victorious charges at Invictus Victory Elixir: lavender, cardamom, and black pepper over incense and patchouli into vanilla pod and tonka.
The Dark Shelf: Oud, Leather, Booze and Smoke
This is the winter and wedding season end of the range, and it is ambitious.
Havana takes on Xerjoff Naxos: bergamot, lemon, and lavender melting into honey, cinnamon, and jasmine sambac over tobacco leaf, vanilla, and tonka. Alexander goes bigger still, after Xerjoff Alexandria II: rosewood, cinnamon, and apple over rose and cedar into oud, sandalwood, amber, and vanilla. Velvet Sin reworks MFK Oud Satin Mood, Bulgarian and Turkish rose over oud, benzoin, caramel, and amber.
Ambre Noir is Menworks' Ombre Nomade: raspberry, rose, and saffron wrapped around amberwood, benzoin, incense, and oud. Ambre Leather is a declared blend of Ombre Leather and Tuscan Leather, cardamom and saffron over leather and jasmine sambac into suede and amber, sitting between the two Tom Fords in character. Spiced Tobacco brings the Red Tobacco heat: cinnamon, saffron, incense, nutmeg, and a whisper of oud over tobacco, Madagascar vanilla, amber, and Haitian vetiver.
The boozy pair: After Dark channels Initio Side Effect with rum, cinnamon, tobacco, and saffron over vanilla, and Heaven On The Rocks does Angels' Share On The Rocks denser, iced bergamot and aldehydes over cognac, caramel, and cinnamon. Syndicate takes on Initio Narcotic Delight: cherry, pink pepper, and cognac over rose into tobacco, vanilla, and tonka.
Rounding out the shelf: Shaikh, built on the drydown of Ahmed Al Maghribi Bin Shaikh per the brand, all lavender, saffron, sugar, bakhoor, oud, and amber resins. Cardamom Aoud, the brand's more cardamom heavy, more intense take on Penhaligon's Halfeti Leather, plum and spices over leather, rose, cloves, and oud. Untamed, after Oman Luxury Caden, saffron, cardamom, and boozy notes over suede, coffee, and benzoin. L'Instinct, after Guerlain Habit Rouge L'Instinct, green notes and grapefruit over an unusual cannabis, mate, and red rose heart. And Gris, after Dior's Gris Dior (held in our catalog under its former name, Gris Montaigne): a powdery rose, jasmine, and orange blossom chypre over oakmoss and patchouli that leans a touch feminine, just like the original.
The House Originals
Not everything is an interpretation. Cologne is the house's own fougere: orange, bergamot, and lemon over rosemary, lavender, petitgrain, and neroli into white musk and dry amber. 90's Shave is its in-house barbershop scent, orange and bergamot with basil, lavender, and black pepper over oakmoss, sandalwood, and patchouli. Ingenious (ginger, bergamot, magnolia, neroli, vanilla) sits in the neighbourhood of Goldfield and Banks' Ingenious Ginger, but the brand explicitly calls it not a clone, so Scentarchy leaves it unmapped. Imperial Leather (raspberry, saffron, and thyme over frankincense and jasmine into leather, suede, and amber) carries no mapped inspiration in our data and stands as its own composition.
How to Buy Menworks in India
The house sells direct through its own online store, which keeps pricing honest and stock fresh. The smart entry point is the 15ml mini size offered across the range: this is a 42 scent lineup, and minis let you test the interpretations against your skin before committing to 50ml. Oil concentration is printed per product, and it matters: the 20 to 25 percent freshies wear light and bright, while the 25 to 35 percent dark shelf scents are evening weight.
Seasonal sense applies as everywhere in India. The LV fresh crew (Immense, Atlantic Chill, Summer Dive) and the blue shelf are your April to September rotation. Havana, Spiced Tobacco, After Dark, and the oud shelf earn their keep from October to February, at weddings, and in serious air conditioning. Our guide to spotting fake perfumes matters less here than usual, since buying direct from the house removes the grey market from the equation entirely.
The Bottom Line
Menworks is doing the Indian clone brief properly: named inspirations, published concentrations, mini sizes for sampling, and a range that runs from Louis Vuitton freshies to Initio booze bombs without losing coherence. Start with Istanbul if you want one bottle that shows the house at its best value, Havana for the evening shelf, and a handful of 15ml minis across the LV crew before you commit. Houses this transparent deserve the attention they are starting to get.
