Composition
The original gentleman's classic by Michel Almairac, named for the founder. Lavender, bergamot and Brazilian rosewood open onto rose and geranium over patchouli, sandalwood and vanilla — a warm amber-woody legend.
This opens like a door into a candlelit majlis — Brazilian rosewood, dark and rosy-woody, lavender, clean and calming, clary sage, herbal and musky-green and bright bergamot, sparkling citrus unfolding over dark, opulent warmth. Underneath, Rose, lush and velvety, geranium, rosy-green and sharp, jasmine, heady and white and lily of the valley, dewy and green-white gather like a slow chord, deepening everything around them. A thread of woody warmth stitches the whole thing into one seamless piece. The dry-down is Patchouli, dark and earthy-sweet, sandalwood, creamy and smooth, vanilla, creamy and sweet and dry cedar, pencil-shaving woods — smooth, grounding, and quietly addictive. This one does not ask for attention; it simply deserves it. Beginner-friendly — approachable from the very first sniff.
