Composition
An ice-cold aromatic from The Liquors collection by Sidonie Lancesseur, first exclusive to Kilian's Moscow boutique. Aldehydes, coriander and cardamom open into rhubarb, lily-of-the-valley and pink rose, over ambroxan, oakmoss and sandalwood.
To me this smells like a freezer door opening in a Moscow bar — aldehydes and coriander striking ice-cold and metallic, cardamom adding a green spark. The cardamom is green and camphorous, like cold air moving through pine needles. Rhubarb, lily-of-the-valley and pink rose thaw it slightly, crisp and clean, before ambroxan, oakmoss and sandalwood settle into a mineral, skin-like coolness. It is the scent of cold itself. Chilling, literal, and weirdly addictive. The sandalwood is pale and dry underneath, like cold driftwood on a winter beach. Beginner-friendly.
