Composition
Vanitas by Versace is a captivating fragrance featuring floral, citrus accords. It opens with Lime Blossom, Freesia, transitions to a heart of Tiare Flower, and settles into a base of Tonka, Virginia Cedar. A timeless creation for the modern connoisseur.
To me it smells like early morning in a beachside villa in Goa. Someone has cut fresh lime blossoms and freesia and left them in a brass vase by the window, and the sea breeze is carrying the creaminess of tiare flowers through the curtains. Underneath it all there is a soft, almost edible warmth — tonka melting into pale cedarwood, like sunlight warming bare wood. It is graceful without trying too hard, the kind of scent a woman wears when she wants to feel beautiful for herself and no one else. Nothing loud, nothing complicated — just clean petals and light. Easy to love, even for beginners.
