Composition
Trésor L'Absolu is a feminine eau de parfum from Lancôme, launched in 2016. It opens with Damask Rose and Aromatic Spices. The heart reveals Rose, Patchouli and Jasmine settling into a base of Vanila, Benzoin and Leather. Its character is defined by Vanilla, Warm Spicy and Rose accords.
To me this smells like a vault full of roses — treasure, exactly as promised. Damask rose opens deep and velvety over aromatic spices, rich as red velvet, warm as candlelight on gold. It is opulence without apology. More rose blooms into the heart, layered over patchouli's dark earth and jasmine's white fire, like petals scattered over polished wood. Vanilla, benzoin and leather melt into the base — creamy, resinous, supple — like the inside of a jewel box lined with suede. It smells like being adored: warm, precious, and completely enveloping.
