Scent story

This is a leather bar rendered in perfume, and it does not pretend otherwise. Aldehydes and Amalfi lemon snap cold at the top, and then it's all green bite — birch, pine, cypress, galbanum, pepper — like walking into a forest where someone's been chopping wood. The leather arrives with the suede: worn, warm, unmistakably animal. Vanilla and tonka try to sweeten it, iris powders it, ambergris keeps it humming on the skin for hours. It's brilliant and completely uncompromising — masculine in the old, unreconstructed sense. You don't sample this. You commit to it. Not for beginners — beginners stay away.
