Composition
The One Gentleman is a masculine eau de toilette from Dolce & Gabbana, launched in 2013. It opens with Pepper. The heart reveals Lavender, Cardamom and Watercress settling into a base of Vanille and Patchouli. Its character is defined by Fresh Spicy, Warm Spicy and Vanilla accords.
This is peppered lavender fields at dusk — pepper first, sharp and sparkling, then lavender rolling cool and aromatic over the hills, cardamom adding warm spice. Watercress keeps it green and fresh underneath, like a stream through the fields. Vanille and patchouli in the base melt it into warm, sweet wood — the farmhouse at the edge of the field, fire lit, dinner coming. It smells like the perfect gentleman: spicy up top, sweet underneath, never a hair out of place. Effortlessly charming. Beginner-friendly.
