Composition
Part of Gucci's Alchemist's Garden haute perfumery line, composed by Alberto Morillas and launched in 2019. Amber extract opens over a heart of ciste resin, drying down to vanilla. A warm, resinous amber built on just three notes.
To me this smells like staring into something golden and unblinking — amber extract thick and resinous, ciste resin dark and balsamic, vanilla melting through it all like honey in tea. Three notes, and somehow it feels like a whole jungle. It is warm, hypnotic, and strangely calming — the perfume equivalent of holding eye contact. Simple, potent, and not a drop wasted. The ciste resin darkens as it dries, the gold going deeper, more amber, more hypnotic with every hour. Beginner-friendly.
