Composition
Shaghaf Oud CPO is a 2023 unisex concentrated perfume oil from Swiss Arabian — the oil version of the house bestseller Shaghaf Oud. An Oriental Woody built on agarwood and saffron over rose, praline and oud, with an oud-vanilla base. Dabbed, not sprayed: richer, closer to the skin, and longer-wearing than the EDP.
Everything the Shaghaf Oud EDP does, but as an oil — and oils change the story. Without alcohol to lift it, the saffron-oud opening is denser, the rose-praline heart creamier, the vanilla dry-down almost edible. It sits close to the skin and lasts absurdly long — on clothes, days. This is how oud was worn for centuries before sprays existed: a dab on the wrists, behind the ears. In India the CPO format makes total sense — no atomizer plume announcing you across the room, just a rich personal aura. Beginners: actually friendlier than the EDP since projection is intimate. The ornate little bottle is a bonus.
