Shalimar Parfum Initial is a feminine eau de parfum from Guerlain, launched in 2011. It opens with Bergamot, Orange and Green Notes. The heart reveals Iris, Patchouli, Vetiver, Rose and Jasmine settling into a base of Vanille, Caramel, Tonka Bean and Musk. Its character is defined by Vanilla, Powdery and Citrus accords.
Scent story
This is the Shalimar story retold for a new generation. Bergamot, orange and green notes open fresh and bright, and then iris, patchouli, vetiver, rose and jasmine build a heart that's powdery and floral and modern — Shalimar's granddaughter, not its grandmother. Vanilla, caramel, tonka and musk dry it down into pure gourmand comfort, warm and sweet and enveloping. It's the vanilla-caramel hug that made Shalimar famous, without any of the vintage weight. Sweet, warm, and very easy to love. Beginner-friendly.
