To me this smells like morning light through an open window — Citron, sharp and pithy, calabrian bergamot, radiant citrus and sicilian orange, juicy mediterranean crisp and sparkling on the air. After the bright opening, Nigerian ginger, hot and bright, tunisian neroli, bright white blossom and ceylon cinnamon, sweet and fiery take over, and everything grows warmer and more rounded. It feels like the lights dimming to a golden glow. The dry-down is Chinese black tea, smoky and dry, ambroxan, salty-sweet amberwood, guaiac wood, smoky-sweet and balsamic and olibanum, bright sacred resin — smooth, grounding, and quietly addictive. It feels like a deep breath you did not know you needed. Beginner-friendly — a gentle introduction to the house.
