Composition
One of the heaviest compositions in the Lattafa range, opening with a brief saffron-raspberry spark before diving into a dense rose-geranium-patchouli heart and a commanding oud-amber-leather-cedar base. A classic, uncompromising rose-oud for cold evenings and grand occasions.
To me this smells like a cathedral built of roses and smoke — a brief saffron-raspberry spark before the doors close. Rose, geranium and patchouli churn dense in the heart, dark petals over damp earth. Oud, amber, leather and cedar command the base, heavy and uncompromising, like carved wood and old incense. It is a classic rose-oud for grand occasions, and it answers to no one. Not for beginners — beginners stay away.
