Composition
A gin-inspired aromatic from The Liquors collection by Frank Voelkl. Cucumber, juniper berries, lime, violet leaf and pink pepper create an icy opening over rose and ozonic notes, with musk, sandalwood, ambroxan and cedar in the base.
To me this smells like the fanciest spa day you've ever had — cucumber water sweating on the marble counter, juniper berries crushed underfoot on the way to the steam room, lime flashing bright and clean. It's cold in the best way, like a chilled towel on your face. The rose arrives like it's been kept on ice: fresh, dewy, almost frosted, with violet leaf adding that green watery edge and ozonic notes like air after rain. Musk, sandalwood, ambroxan, and cedar settle it into clean skin-warmth. Modern, fresh, effortless. The rose for people who think they don't like rose. Beginner-friendly.
