Composition
Rosa Eau Legere is a feminine eau de toilette from Tous, launched in 2014 as the lighter flanker of Rosa and created by Christine Nagel. It opens with Orange, Mulberry and Peach, reveals a heart of Wild Rose, Rose and Magnolia, and settles into Amber, Musk, Suede and Woody Notes. Its character is defined by floral, fruity and musky accords.
To me this smells like a rose garden in a hill station, after rain. Wild rose and cultivated rose together, pink and dewy; magnolia creamy at the edges. Orange and mulberry and peach — fruit growing right there among the flowers, juice on your fingers. Suede softens everything like a glove, and amber and musk warm the base like sun coming out from behind clouds. It's a watercolour rose, not an oil painting — light, fresh, transparent. The rose for people who think they don't like rose. Beginner-friendly.
