Composition
Reflection Man is a woody-floral-musk eau de parfum for men by Lucas Sieuzac, launched in 2007. It opens with rosemary, pink pepper and petitgrain, develops jasmine, neroli, orris root and ylang-ylang in the heart, and settles into sandalwood, vetiver, cedar and patchouli.
To me this smells like a crisp white shirt drying on a line over the sea — rosemary and petitgrain snap green and clean in the breeze, pink pepper adding the faintest warm sparkle. It's the smell of being put-together without trying. The heart is all white flowers: jasmine, neroli, ylang-ylang, with orris root lending that cool powdery elegance, like the inside of a good suit jacket. Sandalwood and vetiver ground it, cedar and patchouli adding quiet depth. Fresh, floral, woody, perfectly balanced. This is what "effortlessly handsome" smells like. Beginner-friendly.
