Rare Carbon is a leather eau de parfum for men, launched in 2020. It opens with leather, violet leaf, nutmeg and cinnamon, develops violet, agarwood (oud), rose and cedar in the heart, and settles into vetiver, sandalwood and amber.
Scent story
This is a leather jacket in a violet field — leather first, dark and smooth, violet leaf adding a green powdery coolness, nutmeg and cinnamon warming it like the jacket's been in the sun. Then oud rises, animalic and deep, rose blooming dark through the smoke. Violet, cedar, vetiver, and sandalwood in the base turn it into powdery wood and earth; amber warms it like embers. It smells like beautiful trouble: refined up top, feral underneath. The kind of scent that makes people turn around in elevators. Not for beginners — beginners stay away.
