Paco Rabanne Pure XS for Him is an aromatic spicy eau de toilette for men, launched in 2017. It opens with ginger, thyme, grapefruit, bergamot and a green accord, has a heart of vanilla, liquor, cinnamon, leather and apple, and a base of myrrh, sugar, cedar, woody notes, cashmeran and patchouli. It is sold in 50, 100 and 150 ml.
Scent story
To me this smells like a cocktail bar hidden inside a spice market. Ginger and grapefruit sparkle first, sharp and electric over green thyme, and then the vanilla and liquor pour in like someone spiked your drink with something warm. Cinnamon and a thread of leather wind through it — sweet, but with a raised eyebrow — while apple keeps it juicy. The dry down melts into myrrh, sugar, and cashmeran, like the last sip of the night. Excess in the best possible way: dessert and danger in one spray. Easy to love, even for beginners.
