Composition
Poison by Dior is a captivating fragrance featuring oriental, spicy, fruity accords. It opens with Plum, Coriander, transitions to a heart of Tuberose, Rose, and settles into a base of Vanilla, Amber. A timeless creation for the modern connoisseur.
Plum and coriander open dark and spicy, like a fruit left too long in a wooden bowl — strange, intoxicating, wrong in the best way. Tuberose and rose bloom thick and narcotic at the heart, and vanilla, amber, and musk melt it all into something huge and hypnotic. To me it smells like a forbidden garden at midnight, everything overripe and glowing. The 1985 legend that cleared rooms and started obsessions. Not for beginners — beginners stay away.
