Oud Wood Parfum is an oriental woody parfum launched in 2024 in the Private Blend collection, a brighter, cleaner and more powdery iteration of the 2007 original. Fresh spices of cardamom and pink pepper mix with rosewood and rosemary over a rich core of patchouli, sandalwood, vetiver and oud, underscored by vanilla, tonka bean absolute and amber.
Scent story
To me this smells like oud for people who are scared of oud — and that is a compliment. Cardamom and pink pepper open bright and spicy, rosemary adding a green, almost culinary freshness, and then the agarwood arrives, but it is the gentlest oud imaginable: clean, woody, more whisper than roar. Sandalwood, patchouli and vetiver keep it smooth and dry, and the vanilla-tonka-amber base is warm and comforting, like cashmere. It is the 2007 original made brighter and softer — proof that oud does not have to be a challenge. Beginner-friendly.
