Lattafa's celebrated take on smoky oud opulence — sold as Bade'e Al Oud Amethyst in some markets, with Oud For Glory on the bottle. Saffron, nutmeg and lavender open the composition before a deep heart of agarwood oud and patchouli, grounded by oud, patchouli and musk. Long-lasting, commanding, and famous as an affordable alternative to Initio's Oud for Greatness.
Scent story
To me this smells like a throne room at night — saffron and nutmeg blazing at the doors, lavender cool and strange against the heat. The heart is pure agarwood and patchouli, dense and resinous as dark wood, smoke curling off it. More oud, patchouli and musk in the base, deeper and darker, until the whole thing feels carved from a single block of night. It does not ask for attention; it assumes it. Not for beginners — beginners stay away.
