Dupe of Al Mahribi.
Rose attar from Kannauj, aged in dark wood. The rose here is deep red and almost jammy, and the oud wraps around it like smoke around a flame — earthy, resinous, profound. It smells of old wedding trunks and brass lamps, of something precious kept carefully. A love letter written in a language of flowers and wood. Not for beginners — dark rose-oud is an acquired taste.
