Oud Malinau (2024) is built on wild agarwood oil from Indonesia's Malinau region, distilled from disappearing wild trees, with vanilla tinctures from Papua New Guinea and Madagascar. Cardamom and mimosa open it; beeswax, cinnamon and raspberry form the heart; Malinau oud, black pepper, vanilla, Siam benzoin and pink pepper ground the base.
Scent story
Oud Malinau is the most decorative of the 2024 oud trio: sweet vanilla-mimosa giving way to cinnamon-warmed oud smoke, beeswax melting into benzoin and red-lipstick warmth. Like a queen of a tropical archipelago in ceremonial dress. Beginners: the vanilla makes it the softest entry to real oud.
