To me this smells like a desert at dusk — cardamom snapping dry and spicy at the opening, and then jasmine sambac blooming white and indolic against dark, supple leather. It is the contrast that makes it: flower against hide, soft against tough. Patchouli, amber and moss in the base give it an earthy, tactile warmth, like sun-baked stone under your palm. The most wearable leather in the Tom Ford line — smooth as suede, never harsh.
