Composition
Created by Jacques Cavallier Belletrud as the first YSL scent under Tom Ford's creative direction. Cardamom and bergamot spark over black pepper and incense, with white orchid and jasmine melting into sandalwood, vetiver and frankincense. Sensual, smoky and deliberately skin-like, housed in a cobalt blue flacon, with Emmanuelle Seigner as the face of its campaign.

Independence note: “House claims X%” is the brand’s own marketing. “Scentarchy lab” scores are currently estimates from note overlap and community signals — no blind-panel tests completed yet. Dupes are listed under their own names; “inspired by” lines are editorial, not affiliation. Methodology →
