Composition
Neroli Portofino Forte is a leather Eau de Parfum launched in 2016 in the Private Blend collection. It reinterprets the classic Neroli Portofino with a darker, richer character: bergamot, blood orange, lavender, neroli and basil open over a heart of bitter orange, orange blossom, galbanum and leather. The base settles into leather, oakmoss, woody notes and musk.
This is Neroli Portofino after dark, with a leather jacket on. Bergamot, blood orange, lavender, neroli, and basil open bright and Italian — the classic Portofino sunshine — but then it turns: bitter orange, orange blossom, galbanum green and sharp, and leather rising underneath like a shadow. The citrus never leaves, but it is citrus in a dark room. Leather, oakmoss, woods, and musk in the base make it rich and animalic and long-lasting. It is the Private Blend flex: taking the freshest thing Ford makes and giving it teeth. Beautiful, but it bites. Not for beginners — beginners stay away.
