For Her, the debut fragrance of Narciso Rodriguez, was launched as an Eau de Toilette in 2003 and as this Eau de Parfum in 2006, created by Christine Nagel and Francis Kurkdjian. A floral woody musk built around osmanthus, African orange flower, musk and amber over vetiver, vanilla and patchouli — a two-time FiFi Award winner.
Scent story
For Her is the fragrance that made musk modern — it opens with the apricot-honey glow of osmanthus and African orange flower, then sinks into that famous clean-yet-sensual musk heart wrapped in warm amber. The vetiver-vanilla-patchouli base is earthy and intimate, like cashmere on bare skin. It is the definition of quiet luxury: never loud, always present, and endlessly wearable from office to evening. In India it is a beloved signature scent — sophisticated in heat, cocooning in air-conditioning. Very beginner-friendly — soft, clean, musky elegance that offends no one.
