Composition
Mradul Oudh Hindi is a traditional alcohol-free attar from Kannauj, Uttar Pradesh, crafted by ARUN Mradul Perfumers. Pure oil — a drop or two is enough, and it blooms with body heat.
To me this smells like dawn inside a Kannauj attar distillery, when the copper deghs are already steaming and the bhatti fire has been burning since 4am. Wet earth, woodsmoke curling up through the roof beams, and that deep animalic sweetness of real Hindi oud rising off the hot oil like breath. Later it softens into something like the inside of an old leather-bound bahi-khata, pages darkened by a hundred years of fingers, with amber resin glowing underneath like embers that never quite go out. It is not a perfume, it is a place you carry on your skin. One drop is a whole monsoon afternoon. Not for beginners — beginners stay away.
