Composition
A bold gourmand-oriental from Lattafa-owned Ard Al Zaafaran. It opens with an intriguing blend of grapes and chocolate, deepens into a sensual heart of musk and oud, and settles into a rich, smoky base of toffee, tobacco and floral notes. Sweet, luxurious and confidently dark — built for evenings and cooler weather.
To me this is pure comfort in a bottle — Grapes, juicy and winey and chocolate, rich and dark wrapping around you like a warm blanket. After the bright opening, Musk, soft and skin-like and oud, dark smoky wood take over, and everything grows warmer and more rounded. It feels like the lights dimming to a golden glow. Finally Toffee, buttery and deep, tobacco, dry and honeyed-dark and a bouquet of florals remain, like embers glowing softly under everything. It smells like arriving exactly where you meant to be.
