Composition
Midnight Poison by Dior is a captivating fragrance featuring woody, floral, ambery accords. It opens with Mandarin, Bergamot, transitions to a heart of Rose, and settles into a base of Patchouli, Amber. A timeless creation for the modern connoisseur.
Mandarin and bergamot flash once, bright as a struck match — and then it's gone, swallowed by rose. A dark, velvet rose, the kind left on a grave at midnight, sinking into patchouli, amber, and vanilla. To me it smells like a masquerade ball after everyone interesting has left, perfume and secrets in the empty hall. Gorgeous, gothic, and not remotely casual.
