Composition
An oriental-floral eau de parfum for women from Maison Alhambra. Blackcurrant, bergamot and pink pepper open fresh and spicy, tuberose, jasmine, ylang ylang and orange blossom form the luxurious floral heart, and vanilla, cashmere wood, amber and guaiac wood settle the warm, creamy base.
To me this is a Patisserie window on a winter evening in Delhi. Blackcurrant and bergamot shine like glazed berries, pink pepper adding a tiny sparkle, and then a whole bouquet of white flowers — tuberose, jasmine, ylang, orange blossom — arranged in the window, lush and creamy and almost edible. Vanilla, cashmere wood, amber and guaiac dry it down into something soft and expensive, like the inside of a new handbag. It's sweet in the way luxury is sweet — never sticky, always polished. Pure joy, zero risk. Beginner-friendly.
