This smells like a meadow at the edge of a forest — Wormwood, bitter and absinthe-green, mint, icy and green and fresh basil, peppery-green dewy and untamed. After the bright opening, Incense, cold sacred smoke, lavender, clean and calming and rose, lush and velvety take over, and everything grows warmer and more rounded. It feels like the lights dimming to a golden glow. There is a green hum running through all of it, tying every layer together. The dry-down is Tobacco, dry and honeyed-dark, leather, dark and supple, sandalwood, creamy and smooth, guaiac wood, smoky-sweet and balsamic, vetiver, green and earthy, oakmoss, damp and earthy-green, golden amber, warm and glowing, vanilla, creamy and sweet and musk, soft and skin-like — smooth, grounding, and quietly addictive.
