This is Luna Rossa after midnight — the seventh version, and the darkest, in the way a tuxedo is dark. Bergamot opens bright as ever, but there is no lavender here; instead angelica gives it a green, herbal, almost gin-like sharpness, and patchouli adds depth and shadow. It smells like the deck of a yacht at night, city lights on black water. Coumarin, amber, and musk in the base make it warm and powdery and smooth, like a cashmere sweater over a racing suit.
