To me this smells like London in October, when the rain has just stopped and the streets shine. Cinnamon and lavender open warm and dapper over bergamot — like stepping out of a cab into a good evening. Then leather arrives, supple and well-kept, with mimosa softening it into something almost powdery, like the inside of a glove. The drydown is pure atmosphere: tobacco leaf and guaiac wood smouldering underneath, opoponax resin glowing warm, oakmoss lending that damp, green, unmistakably British earthiness. It smells like a man who owns exactly one perfect overcoat and wears it like armour. Refined, grounded, quietly confident. Beginner-friendly.
