L'Interdit Eau de Parfum Rouge Ultime is an Oriental Floral fragrance for women launched in summer 2023, created by Dominique Ropion, Anne Flipo and Fanny Bal — a flanker of the 2021 L'Interdit Rouge. It encompasses a warm, woody floral essence enriched with recycled cocoa shells and dark smoky notes: neroli, orange blossom, tuberose and jasmine warmed by cacao pod, patchouli, vetiver, ambroxan and Balkan tobacco absolute.
Scent story
This is the red dress of the L'Interdit line — forbidden, and dressed for it. Tunisian orange blossom, jasmine sambac, and neroli open white-hot and floral, and then the Indian tuberose arrives with cacao pod: creamy white flowers over dark chocolate, a combination that should be illegal in at least three countries. It is opulent, warm, and deliberately seductive. Patchouli, tobacco, ambroxan, and Haitian vetiver in the base give it a smoky, resinous depth that lasts until morning. It is an oriental floral at full power — glamorous, intense, and completely aware of its effect. Wear it when you mean it. Beginner-friendly.
