Composition
The most opulent take on L'Interdit, built around the signature white-flower bouquet of orange blossom, tuberose and jasmine elevated by radiant mimosa absolute and a precious balsamic accord of myrrh, opoponax and benzoin over vetiver and patchouli.
To me this smells like a flower market at dawn — Bitter almond, sharp and darkly sweet, pear, crisp and juicy and ginger, bright and fiery dewy and luminous in the cool air. Underneath, Orange blossom, white and honeyed, mimosa, powdery golden fluff, tuberose, creamy and narcotic-white and jasmine, heady and white gather like a slow chord, deepening everything around them. The balsamic character never leaves — it is the quiet backbone of the scent. Finally Patchouli, dark and earthy-sweet, vetiver, green and earthy, myrrh, bitter-sweet resin, opoponax, sweet balsamic resin and benzoin, warm golden resin remain, like embers glowing softly under everything. Quietly magnetic — the kind of scent that turns heads without raising its voice. Beginner-friendly — no learning curve here.
