Composition
Francis Kurkdjian's rosy, fresher take on the signature Le Parfum. A peony-rose accord opens onto luminous orange blossom, transparent jasmine and rose nectar over voluptuous sandalwood and elegant patchouli.
This opens like petals scattered on silk — Peony, fresh and rosy, rose, lush and velvety and orange blossom, white and honeyed soft, romantic and quietly opulent. After the bright opening, Jasmine, heady and white and rose nectar, sweet and dewy take over, and everything grows warmer and more rounded. It feels like the lights dimming to a golden glow. A thread of floral warmth stitches the whole thing into one seamless piece. Sandalwood, creamy and smooth and patchouli, dark and earthy-sweet anchor the base — warm, dark, and utterly sure of themselves. It is equal parts comfort and confidence, and it never tries too hard. Beginner-friendly — crowd-pleasing without even trying.
