Scent story

To me this smells like a royal durbar held inside a forest fire — controlled, but only just. Cambodian oud, dark and honeyed-animalic, rises like smoke; saffron and black pepper and nutmeg crackle around it; frankincense and myrrh pour resin onto the flames. Davana adds a strange, boozy fruitiness, like wine spilled on hot wood. Indian jasmine flickers through the smoke, impossibly alive; ambergris and benzoin and bourbon vanilla try to sweeten the inferno and mostly just make it glow. This is power, worn on skin. It doesn't ask for attention. It assumes it. Not for beginners — beginners stay away.
