Composition
Le Beau is Jean Paul Gaultier's 2019 masculine Eau de Toilette by Quentin Bisch and Sonia Constant, the male counterpart to La Belle. A minimalist trio — bergamot, coconut and tonka bean — creates a woody-aromatic tropical warmth. The bottle is a nude male torso with a golden vine leaf, holding blue-green juice.
Bright bergamot flashes first, then the coconut takes over completely — creamy, milky, sunscreen-tropical, like coconut oil on warm skin at a Goan beach. Tonka bean rounds the base into a soft, sweet vanilla warmth. It's simple, seductive and effortlessly wearable across Indian summers, though longevity is modest — this is a daytime and beach-day scent, not a nightclub weapon. Extremely beginner-friendly; one of the easiest designer compliments-getters ever made.
