Composition
Vintage Radio by Lattafa Perfumes is an eau de parfum unisex, launched in 2023. It opens with Lavender, Sage and Bergamot; the heart features Plum, Palo Santo and Black Pepper; and the base is Sandalwood and Oud. The composition reads predominantly woody, aromatic and fruity.
To me this smells like an old radio warming up — tubes glowing, static crackling into music. Lavender and sage and bergamot, herbal and crisp; plum, dark and jammy, like a song in a minor key. Black pepper crackles like static. Palo santo smoke drifts through — sacred wood, sweet and resinous — and sandalwood warms underneath; oud hums at the very bottom, dark and low, like the bass note you feel more than hear. It's nostalgic and strange at once, a broadcast from another time. Not for beginners — beginners stay away.
