Island Vanilla Dunes is a unisex extrait de parfum from Khadlaj, launched in 2025 in the Oriental Vanilla family. It pairs vanilla, cinnamon, cardamom and bergamot with an orange blossom and guaiac wood heart over praline, amber and musk. A warm, spiced vanilla gourmand in extrait concentration.
Scent story
Think of a winter evening in Rajasthan — the air cool, a bonfire crackling, and someone passing around spiced chai and warm sweets. Vanilla Dunes opens with a cinnamon-cardamom warmth over vanilla, then orange blossom lifts it just enough to keep it from feeling heavy, before praline and amber settle into a cosy, glowing dry-down. This is comfort in a bottle: sweet, warm and enveloping. Best saved for cooler months and nights in India; in May heat it will feel like a blanket at noon. Very beginner-friendly if you love vanilla — it is sweet, smooth and universally pleasing.
