Chanel's Jersey is part of the Les Exclusifs de Chanel collection, a lavender-centred eau de toilette launched in 2011. Named after the soft jersey fabric Coco Chanel made iconic, it is a powdery, musky floral built around lavender, jasmine and rose over a base of musk, tonka bean and vanilla.
Scent story
This is lavender the Chanel way — softened, smoothed and wrapped in muslin. It opens clean and herbal, like crushed lavender sprigs, then melts into powdery jasmine and rose over warm musk and tonka. It wears like a perfectly cut cardigan: understated, elegant, quietly confident. On Indian skin it performs beautifully in cool weather and air-conditioned offices; in peak summer heat it can turn a touch soapy. Beginners will find it easy to love — gentle, inoffensive, unmistakably French.
