This is midnight at a wedding afterparty. Black cherry and bitter almond hit first — like amaretto spilled on silk — then rose and jasmine sambac bloom through the smoke of it. Vanilla and tonka bean wrap everything in something warm and expensive, and the oakmoss and vetiver underneath keep it from being pure candy. It smells like dancing too close to someone. Sweet, dark, a little dangerous. What I love is the tension — the vetiver and oakmoss dragging against the cherry like a bassline under a pop song. It never quite decides whether it wants to be innocent or not, and that indecision is the whole point. Beginner-friendly.
