Composition
A floral-fruity gourmand from The Florals collection by Calice Becker. Guatemalan cardamom, pink pepper and bergamot open into plum, apricot, Turkish rose and incense, over atlas cedar and patchouli.
To me this smells like a jazz bar at 2am, the kind with no sign on the door — Guatemalan cardamom and pink pepper hit first, electric and warm, bergamot flashing like a neon sign. It's the smell of the night deciding to get interesting. The heart is dark fruit and darker intentions: plum and apricot, bruised and honeyed, Turkish rose blooming blood-red through incense smoke. Atlas cedar and patchouli ground it in shadow. This is Kilian doing temptation — spicy, fruity, smoky, unapologetically adult. It doesn't smell like innocence, and it isn't trying to. Not for beginners — beginners stay away.
