Composition
A 2016 limited Platinum Edition of Gucci Guilty Pour Homme. Lavender and lemon open over orange blossom, with patchouli and cedar in the base. The original Guilty masculine composition in a platinum-toned metal bottle.
To me this is a perfect morning shave — lavender soap lathering rich and clean, lemon bright against the steam, orange blossom adding a soft white-floral grace note. It smells like a bathroom with good light and nowhere to be. Patchouli and cedar in the base keep it grounded and masculine — the wooden counter under the porcelain sink. It is grooming perfected: fresh, aromatic, quietly confident. The scent of a man who irons his shirts and means it. Beginner-friendly.
