Composition
A woody-floral eau de parfum for men and women from Maison Alhambra. Rose, bergamot and woody accords open refined and fresh, rose, jasmine and lemon brighten the heart, and oak moss, patchouli and amber settle the earthy, warm base.
To me this smells like a rose garden the morning after rain, when the petals are still heavy and the air smells of wet bark. Bergamot and lemon lift the top like sun breaking through cloud, rose and jasmine blooming soft and gray-green — not red roses, but roses seen through mist. Woody notes and oakmoss root it in damp earth. Patchouli and amber dry it down to something quietly elegant, like a charcoal sketch of a flower. It is muted, refined, a little melancholic — beauty that doesn't need to raise its voice. Beginner-friendly.
