Composition
Annick Goutal's ode to love and her cellist husband: hyacinth, lily and honeysuckle leading to Turkish rose, jasmine and mimosa over amber, vanilla, myrrh and musk. Lush, powdery and deeply romantic.
To me this smells like my grandmother's garden after the mali has finished, hyacinth, lily, honeysuckle and Turkish rose heavy in the warm air. Then Indian mimosa, jasmine, leather and broom deepen — rounded and full, right on cue. Underneath it all, myrrh, amber, musk and vanilla hold the whole thing together, warm and close to the skin. It is the scent of the calm after the celebration. Beginner-friendly — wear it anywhere, no lessons required.
