Composition
A 2012 edition in the Flora by Gucci line. Green notes, freesia and citruses open over magnolia and peony, with Mexican chocolate, musk and sandalwood in the drydown. A fresh magnolia with an unusual chocolate-woody base.
To me this is a garden in full bloom at golden hour. Green notes, freesia and citruses open fresh and dewy, like the first walk through the nursery section, and then magnolia and peony take over — big, creamy, glamorous flowers, the kind that make you stop and stare. It smells like being the best-dressed person at a garden party. Mexican chocolate, musk and sandalwood dry it down warm and a little gourmand, like dessert served on the lawn. It's feminine and joyful and completely easy. The name is honest: this is glamorous. Beginner-friendly.
