Composition
The dark, oriental pillar of the Fakhar line. Saffron, nutmeg, nagarmotha and cypriol ignite a spicy-woody opening, guaiac, sandalwood, cedar, patchouli and jasmine fill the middle with rich depth, and vanilla, amber, tonka bean and musk complete a sweet-balsamic finish. Powerful, seductive and unmistakably oud-driven.
To me this smells like the last hour of a wedding after-party, saffron, nutmeg, nagarmotha and cypriol dark and a little dangerous in the haze. As it settles, guaiac wood, sandalwood, cedar, patchouli and jasmine melt forward — like silk catching light and completely at ease. And the cedar never quite leaves, smooth as poured honey. It settles finally into vanilla, amber, tonka bean and musk — velvet-dark and calm. It smells like the calm after the celebration, bottled. Not for beginners — beginners stay away.
