Composition
Al Haramain Ehsas is a unisex perfume oil (attar) launched in 2012. A musk-forward composition layered with ambergris, woody notes, rose and white flowers, it has an aldehydic, slightly marine lift in the heart and a warm sandalwood-tonka-moss dry-down. As a concentrated oil, it wears close to the skin and lasts long.
Ehsas opens like a clean white shirt warmed by the sun — musk and ambergris doing most of the talking, with a whisper of rose and citrus. There's a soapy, almost sea-breeze freshness in the middle that keeps it from feeling heavy, like the air after a monsoon shower. As it dries, it becomes a soft woody-amber skin scent, intimate and calming — the kind of attar you wear to the office or to prayer without announcing yourself. It rewards patience; the first hour is the brightest. Beginners: very approachable, though attar application (dabbing, not spraying) takes a little getting used to.
