Composition
EGE / ΑΙΓΑΙΟ is an extrait de parfum by Nishane, launched in 2020 and composed by Ilias Ermenidis, part of the No Boundaries collection and named after the Aegean Sea. It opens with yuzu, violet leaves and anise, moves through basil, green cardamom and mint, and settles on olibanum and licorice. Unisex, green-aromatic and fresh-spicy, it is an ode to Mediterranean summers.
The opening is a green explosion — sharp yuzu citrus, cool violet leaves, and the unmistakable sweet-spice of anise, like a Mediterranean herb garden by the sea. The basil and mint keep it crisp and cooling, while green cardamom adds a fresh, peppery sparkle. The dry-down is softer: warm licorice and a whisper of incense-like olibanum. It smells like a holiday — sea breeze, citrus groves, and fresh herbs. Perfect for Indian summers and daytime wear. Very beginner-friendly; fresh, clean and easy to love, though the anise is distinctive enough that a quick sample is still smart.
